Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA)

The Gender & Sexuality Alliance is a student-led club that meets monthly to create a supportive community for LGBTQ+ students and allies at MNOHS. Students decide the group’s needs and focus. Last year in this group, students enjoyed several wild rounds of Kahoot, planning creative ways to get their voices heard, open forums with invited guest speakers and supporting each other during challenging times.MEETING TIMES: Third Friday of every month from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

All Booked Up

All Booked Up Book Club is a monthly meeting for anyone at MNOHS who loves reading for pleasure. We read and discuss short fiction pieces together—and share our favorite genres (types of books), favorite authors, how reading can change lives, and recent and lifetime best reads. The Locker

The Locker is a weekly drop-in social hour open to all MNOHS students who want to take a break from their daily routines and connect with other MNOHS students.MEETING TIMES: Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 2pm

MNOHS Peer Leader Program

The MNOHS Peer Leader Program matches successful MNOHS students with incoming MNOHS students. The purpose of this group is to help new students make connections with their peers at MNOHS and learn to navigate MNOHS and online learning with the support of a returning student.New students check in weekly with Peer Leaders, and they participate in regular large group activities – both online and in-person when possible. The Peer Leaders will work with new students on setting and working toward goals during the school year. New this year: all students can request a check-in regarding academic, social, or emotional concerns from a Peer Leader, who will do their best to respond to the request within 24 hours (not including weekends).MEETING TIMES: No open meetingsLOCATION: n/aQUESTIONS? Student Leadership Council (SLC)

All MNOHS students are welcome to join Student Leadership Council. The SLC plans activities to promote community at MNOHS and build confidence and leadership skills in students.MEETING TIMES: 2nd Wednesday of every month at 2pm

TAG Team (Talented and Gifted)

MNOHS TAG Team (Talented and Gifted): Students who show high achievement or high potential in intellectual, creative, artistic, or leadership activities meet monthly to discuss ideas and plan activities. CONTEST WINNER WILL BE SELECTED BY A RANDOM DRAW OF ALL SUBMISSIONS. THE WINNER OF THE CONTEST WILL BE ANNOUNCED FRIDAY, JUNE 6.


Each year, students submit songs to be added to our two school Spotify playlists (check them out in Just for Fun at The Pond).The first list is our Mood Boost Playlist and the second is our Studying Playlist.Entering the contest is easy. Enter one song (no more) for each list (two songs total). For each song submitted, you will be given one entry into our contest for that playlist. Songs must be school-appropriate! Any song entry that isn't will not be entered! If you aren't sure if it is appropriate, find a new song. :)One winner will be drawn for each playlist, so make sure to submit a song for each category to be entered in both drawings.On Friday, 11/1 (the last day of Q1), a winner will be announced for each playlist. The winning entry drawn from each list will win their choice of a Grubhub or DoorDash gift card for $40!
